"This piece was inspired by birds flying over my city at sunset," says Ksenia Sizaya. "I imagined them leaving a trail as they flew, so I could see their paths all at once." Ksenia Sizaya is a Montreal-based artist who was trained in St. Petersburg, Russia, and completed her master's degree in graphic art. Sizaya says her art is influenced by abstract expressionism and modernism. "I've always been a creative person, even as a small child. Design and art have always been a major part of my life." The artist is inspired by city life imagery and the outdoors.
