Inspired by the clean lines of iconic Italian and French midcentury designs, velvet counter stool by NYC-based designer Nicholas Obeid is characterized by a juxtaposition of crisp lines and gentle curves. A modern take on a chair the designer found at a flea market in Buenos Aires, the sculptural silhouette features an upholstered back that floats within the soft curves of the solid American red oak frame certified sustainable by the Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC). Plush velvet in a deep, rich rose provides an elegant counterpoint to the warmth of the wood. CB2 exclusive.
