Bench by Evan Jerry of Studio ANANSI features two seats with a center "U"-shaped structure symbolizing unity within the Black community and the Black in Design Collective specifically—a global group of Black people, cultures and identities merging as a unit. Center arc introduces an element of dynamism while maintaining the purity of the bench's form. Thick, solid iron base has a matte black powdercoated finish for a smooth, understated appearance. Tailored warm brown velvet cushion features top-stitched seams, creating plush places to linger on either side of the curve. CB2 exclusive.

Sculptural and architectural storytelling alludes to designer Evan Jerry’s Caribbean heritage and global education, and the name ANANSI is a direct reference to West African and West Indian folklore.
