Digitally Printed

A modern approach to wallpaper printing in which digital design files are transferred directly from a computer onto the backing material. Digital printing offers rich and saturated colors, and is ideal for murals, large scale patterns and illustrations.

Screen Printed

Also known as silkscreen, screen printing uses stencils and mesh screens to push ink layer by layer onto the backing material. It’s an artisanal process that results in a hand-touched appearance and dimensional texture unable to be replicated by modern methods.

Raised Gravure

A multi-step technique combining traditional recessed gravure printing with an additional layer of “raised” inks creating a dimensional, tactile surface that’s durable and good for hiding imperfections on walls.

Surface Printed

A manufacturing method developed in the 19th century that replicates the look and feel of hand-block printing. Raised relief rollers stamp layers of ink onto a paper web to create a hand-painted aesthetic.

Bedroom

Avoid overstimulating patterns. Soft textures and delicate patterns are good choices.

Bathroom

Humidity is a factor here, so look for durable options like non-woven wallpapers.

Dining Room

A perfect place to go bold with patterns or rich texture, setting the scene for dinner parties.
